FOUNDER MEMBER OF BLACKMORE PLAYERS PASSES AWAY

BLACKMORE Players are mourning the loss of founder member and long time Secretary Ann Doherty.

Ann was a leading light in the village and readily joined the fledgling Blackmore Players contributing not only her acting and singing skills but worked tirelessly forming a well functioned data base of members which she  regularly kept informed of developments.

She had been ill for some time and bravely carried on, featuring in many productions.

Over the last three weeks, Ann was confined to Basildon Hospital where she sadly passed away on Wednesday January 28.
